Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The 14" dia white painted dial with black Roman numerals and the "Military" arrow. It is signed "Made by F. W. Elliott of London, 1949."
The mahogany case is beautifully polished with opening lower door to the underside and inspection door to the side and has a brass bezel.
