Brass Wall Light with Original Cranberry Shade

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1910-1930 a beautifully made brass wall light with the original long cranberry shade.

It is very heavy, and each piece shows the quality of the workmanship, especially the three long arms holding the shade that was purpose made for the light fitting, and is in very good condition.

The light measures approximately 28cm in length; the arm holding the light is 22cm and the length of the shade on it's own is 18.5cm with a 10cm in diameter outside edge.

The hexagonal shape backplate is solid brass and has two purpose made drill holes for easy fixing to a wall.

The light was rewired by the previous owner and must be PAT tested before installation by an electrician - we are selling it as requiring an up to date test to comply with UK electrical regulations.
