French Large Gilt Wood Early !9th Century Barometer

Description

A good quality French giltwood barometer. Carved bows to the pediment and moulded edging to the case. A painted wooded board dial with the original blued steel hand. The original circular spiral alcohol thermometer running up the middle of the case. In good original condition with written scale markings.

The base is signed 'Par Andrioly Rue Greneta, Paris'. This example dates to circa 1830.
