A Magnificent Pair of Victorian Silver Salt Tubs & Spoons

Description

A magnificent pair of pierced silver salt tubs from early in the reign of Queen Victoria. These lovely examples stand on lion paw feet and have detailed piercing to the sides, featuring vacant cartouches, heraldic, floral and foliar decoration. The bowls retain the original blue liners and a pair of associated hallmarked silver spoons complete the set. A superior pair of condiment tubs with a number of tableware uses. Dimensions below.
