Description

Handsome late 19th.c. mahogany four door sideboard c.1880. Single piece solid mahogany top with a deep thumb moulded edge over three drawers with the same moulded edge. Inverted breakfront base base with two door centre cupboard and deeper side cupboards with a single shelf to each. Simple uncluttered design free of any applied brass work (the drawers are opened with finger grips hidden below the mouldings on the drawer fronts), square panel doors with raised mouldings. Solid mahogany drawer fronts, doors and cabinet sides. Four patched repairs to the top where there was originally a gallery fitted, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied. Top lifts off the base for ease of delivery.
