Description

Lovely Chestnut Breton double bed with exceptional detail carving depicting flute players and dancing maidens in a country yard with even a windmill in the background. Foliate carving at base of foot and top of head. Please see close up image for detail.Fluted columns and turned bed knobs.The original side rails have been adapted to support modern length double mattress 135cm x 190cm. The bed has been cleaned and waxed to preserve the patina and lovely colour of this bed.
