A small early 19th century naïve oil painting on oak panel, of cows watering at a stream, with seated figures, boats and a cottage, and with trees in the background, under a sunlit sky. In a bird’s eye maple frame with a gilt slip.

Condition: Overall good, there is an old repair to the panel. The painting has been cleaned at some point, some time ago. The frame, whilst possibly not original, is commensurate with the age of the painting.
