Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
It has a platinum case surrounded by diamonds and then more diamonds to the decorative platinum articulated shoulders - very much of the Art Deco era in design. It has approximately 1.5ct of diamonds.
It also has peacock blue steel hands on the dial which is in mint condition having been fully restored.
The movement is the calibre 818 manual winding.
It is attached to a solid 9ct white gold mesh bracelet which goes over your hand and can then be adjusted to fit your wrist. It will fit a wrist size of up to 7.25 inches.
The watch head itself measures 25mm wide and 32mm long excluding the winding crown.
As you would expect from Jaeger-LeCoultre the diamonds are bright, crisp and evenly matched, the sparkle they generate is just stunning.
A new glass has been fitted and it has been cleaned and polished so it is absolutely beautiful.

This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.
The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.
The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and the watch sealed.
Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give reliable and dependable service and will not require any further attention for many years.
