Description

An 18th Century Flintlock Pistol.

The long brass barrelled flintlock pistol with an unscrewing long barrel, of canon shape with a ring muzzle body. The barrel proof marked, and fronting the brass housing of the flintlock mechanism. The housing engraved with floral decoration enfolding arrows and a quiver. The mechanism engraved for 'SEGLAS, LONDON'. The steel trigger guard floral decorated, before the walnut stock with leaf decoration carved to the top, and a brass pommel butt plate.

Height 5 1/2 inches, 14cm.

Width 13 inches, 33cm.

Depth 1 1/2 inches, 4cm.
