The bookcase has a wonderful mahogany grain with a fine mahogany eight drawer base section and a tall four shelf two door mahogany top .This really is top drawer when it comes to bookcases the cabinet maker has taken great care to match the veneers to the top as well as the bottom ,all the drawers slide nice and smooth with crisp hand dovetailed drawers .

The inside depth of thetop section is 28 cms
