Pair of Solid Sterling Silver Shell Salt Dishes and Spoons in Original Box

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine pair of antique Sterling Silver salt dishes and matching spoons in their original case. The dishes are stylish and good quality, shaped as shells set on three small ball feet. The spoons are also shaped as shells with curved handles terminating in ball finials. The set weighs approximately 19g in total. Each piece is fully hallmarked for J & R Griffin, Chester, 1907.

The set comes in its original case with a fitted blue velvet interior and silk lined lid. The case has some signs of age and use and some scuffs around the edges but it displays well for its age.

The set is in good condition with clear hallmarks. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use or display.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask. UK delivery £5, rest of the world £20.
