Victorian Porcelain Painted Scent Bottle with Solid Silver Top

Description

A superb Victorian porcelain scent bottle with a solid silver threaded top and collar. The bottle is good quality with attractive hand painted floral decoration. The top is clearly hallmarked for William Oliver, Birmingham, 1889.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are some small dinks in the silver top and some general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There are no cracks or damages to the bottle and just a small area of painted gilded outline on one flower is missing (see photo). The bottle has been cleaned and the silver gently polished and overall it displays very well.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask. UK Delivery £5, rest of the world £20.
