The front of the box pulls down by the brass handle which tips the double handled metal coal bucket forward. The bucket is then at the correct angle to shovel out the coal
The Purdonium is very sturdy with only minor signs of wear
The Coal Box is 28” tall, 16” wide and 13” deep
