A William IV Mahogany Scroll End Sofa

Description

A William IV mahogany scroll end sofa, circa 1830-1840, with foliate carved frame raised on fluted supports with original brass castors. Upholstered in a tapestry fabric with loose cushion and bolsters.

Unusually for a sofa of this type, this example has a deep enough seat to make it very comfortable.

The fabric is in good order, however recovering can be arranged - please contact me for further details.

96cm high, 201cm long max, the seat is 66cm deep and is 49cm high (including cushion)
