Antique Brass Double Counter Bell in Gong Form

Description

A really wonderful and most unusual Victorian counter bell in the form of a dinner gong with a push button each side each operating a different clapper to ring the bell.

Tucked behind one of the legs is a British registration number which is always a bonus to find, the number looks to be 5478 which would date it to 1884.

Most unusual and in excellent condition. Measures 5 1/2" wide x 5" tall.
