Description

This stunning early to mid 20th Century black lacquered chinoiserie clock is made by the famous maker Elliott and is signed to the dial “An Elliott Clock” along with “MADE IN ENGLAND” as well as being signed by the retailer “H. Chapman & Co Chelmsford”. The dial then features an attractive silvered chapter ring set out in roman numerals and is finished with cherub spandrils to the corners along with spandrils to the arch.

The case is beautifully lacquered with in black and finished with beautiful chinoiserie design with people, and houses painted to the sides, front, and top.

The clock is wound from the back and ticking away perfectly.
