Apart from being very comfortable and adjustable, two more things attracted me to this light oak revolving desk chair - its fine original condition and its history. There are many oak desk chairs to choose from, some at a lesser price, but this is such an excellent example with an interesting provenance. You can tell a lot about how a chair has been treated by examining its original castors - the set that supports this chair are in excellent condition which suggests its been well cared for during the last 100 + years.
