The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
Mazarine blue bands to the rim and foot. The upper band finely decorated with gilded vines, flowers and arabesques with a dentil rim, and the lower band with a geometric pattern also with dentil band around the foot. The handle has gilded leaf up the back with graduated lines and dots above and below and graduated lines running above and below the terminals. Blue crescent mark to the base, c.1775.

It measures 14cm (5 1/2") high, 9.5cm (3 5/8") rim to rim and 13.3cm (5 1/4") rim to handle. It has a capacity of 800ml / just over 1 1/4 pints. Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. Surface wear is very light, mainly just a little rubbing to the gilding along the dentil band of the foot. There is some kiln dust marks inside the bottom.
