Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1930s.
In beautifully figured walnut veneers with carved handles and standing on ogee bracket feet. This piece would have originally begun life as a dressing table. The kneehole aperture is quite small (see dimensions), but big enough for a small chair to fit under.

Condition Report:
Good condition, with lovely colour and patina to the walnut. A few small chips to the veneer on the drawer fronts. Begun life as a dressing table, discolouration to the top at the back where a gallery top would have been. Other wear and marks commensurate with age.
