Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The main pole is channelled and has its original brass pulley, now featuring 16 wooden rings. To the end of the poles are wonderfully carved and shaped finials in oak with faded gilt highlights. All original condition.

Original condition with good colour and patina. General wear and marks commensurate with age. Some old solid mends to the base of the finial. Rings included. No brackets.
