This antique has been viewed 42 times in the past month with the most views from Germany.

A pair of Victorian mahogany pieces from around 1860-80? but in good condition for their age, with exuberant scroll-carved & fret-cut armorial backs with raised central shields, on shaped seats with serpentine fronts and rounded corners, on turned & tapering front legs and sabre rear, these striking hall chairs will impress in any stylishly elegant entrance hall or reception room and are sure to attract flattering attention from your guests.
NB: One chair is about 1" higher than the other and marginally wider, so I have shown the larger dimensions below:
O/All Width 41.5cm x Depth 40cm (16.25" x 15.75"), Height at Centre of Back 87.5cm (34.5") & Height to Seat 42.5cm (16.75")
Seat Width at Narrowest 30.5cm (12") & Seat Depth 32.5cm (12.75")
These are Victorian chairs, so you may expect the mature character & patina that only comes with considerable age, together with minor wear & tear, including some old, secure repairs but, otherwise, they're in good, clean & sound condition, ready to use in your home.
