Description

A fantastic quality 19th Century breakfront walnut cabinet / credenza, wonderful burr walnut top with a moulded edge, the frieze below decorated with fine inlay and brass beading, having three doors below, the central door having a paneled front with brass beading and a decorative inlaid pattern at the centre opening to reveal a fixed single shelf inside, the doors either side having brass grills opening to reveal two fixed shelves inside, the front of the cabinet having very nice quality ormolu mounts at the top and bottom of each pillar, standing a shaped plinth decorated with boxwood inlay. Circa 1860.
