The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Red mark to the base. A breakfast cup version of this can is illustrated in Berthoud's Compendium Of British Cups plate 705.

It measures 8cm (3 1/8") high to the handle, 6.5cm (2 1/2") rim to rim and 8.8cm (3 3/8") rim to handle. Condition is very good with no damage or restoration. There is a little rubbing to the gilding on the handle and a tiny bit in places on the upper band. Some craze lines under the base and some slight discolouration on the inside at the same area.
