Walnut Hall Stand C.1905.

1900 - 1920
Description

Good quality Edwardian walnut hall stand c.1905. Ten large brass hooks for hats and coats etc arranged around a shaped and bevelled mirror with a small shelf bracket. Over a marble table top and a glove drawer flanked on each side with stick or umbrella stands with removable metal drip trays in the shelf below. Solid walnut frame with a moulded cornice and a dental frieze, pierced side panels, square spindles and pierced splat below the drawer. Tapering front supports with pommel tops and pad feet. Maker’s label for T.B & W Cockayne of Sheffield. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops
