~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~
A stunning antique French portico clock.
It is classical in style, the clock is mounted between a six column portico with the sunburst pendulum visible swinging below.

The dial is porcelain enamel on copper, exquisitely decorated with floral swags delicately painted between the numbers of the dial. Hands are gilded, fretted brass. The rear door is glazed to allow the pendulum to be seen.

The French movement is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a replacement. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video clip of the clock running, please ask.

Condition of the case is excellent, marble has a very good polish with no major chips or scratches, just the usual tiny nibbles to the edges. Ormolu is also in very good condition with a bright and clean finish with some slight tarnish/discolouration. Dial is in very good condition with no chips or scratches just some minor hairlines.

The dial is signed for the Paris retailer A La Renaissance, who's premise was across the road from the La Renaissance Theater on the Boulavard St Martin. The advert above is from slighter later in the companies existence. The movement back plate is marked for the clockmaker Fini of Paris.

Complete with pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
