An extremely fine example of a cwpwrdd tridarn (three-part cupboard), of small proportions and made from the rare and desirable yew-wood.The top tier has a bold cornice above a frieze bearing the marriage initials ''W'' over ''T...E'', flanked by the date ''1730'', with a boarded back and sides with wavy slats fronted by well-turned columns. The central section has an unusual arrangement with a pair of drop finials over two small drawers flanked by cupboards with square raised and fielded panels. The base section has a pair of doors, each with three panels and wrought iron butterfly hinges, the whole raised on stile feet.Conwy Valley, Snowdonia, north Wales, dated 1730.
