A 1930s Thomas Russell Premier full hunter pocket watch.

Thomas Russell & Son was a well respected business having achieved a Royal Warrant as watch and clock makers to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The Swiss movement is signed Thomas Russell & Son , Liverpool. Premier. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 51.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Thomas Russell model made by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a few small "dings" mainly to the back cover but overall it is in nice condition for a 1930s piece.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Thomas Russell & Son Liverpool. Premier. The dial has some nibbling to the centre hole although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition .

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
