Description

Good George II Irish mahogany silver table; the figured solid mahogany rectangular top with rounded corners and a lip moulded edge above a scrolled shaped frieze centred with a large carved scalloped shell; raised on acanthus carved cabriole legs terminating in unusual carved hocks and paw feet. The table is similarly carved on both sides so it can used free standing. Good colour and patination.
