Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The frame has an inverted breakfront base and stands on squat bun feet. Mirror plate appears old with some general age related wear, light foxing and loss of silvering in places. It has been overpainted in gold at some point, which has aged and distressed. A good large sized overmantle, the mirror plate with nice age and wear.

Good condition with some minor wear and marks commensurate with age. Mirror plate appears old with some general age related wear, light foxing and loss of silvering in places. It has been overpainted in gold at some point, which has aged and distressed. Retains it original back boards.
