Description

In a square engine turned silver case this mirrored compact has a rose gold clasp, a gilded interior, a removable gauze panel and was probably used for loose powder. It could also be used as a make up mirror and a pill box.

It was made in Birmingham by LE McCann in 1949 and is in excellent condition, protected by its satin sleeve.
