Antique William 1v Mahogany Chiffonier C1830

Antique William 1V Mahogany CHIFFONIER and dating from around 1830. Constructed from excellent quality mahogany it has a carved and shaped frieze above a single shelf on turned supports and with a moulded panel to the back. To the base there is a rounded edge to the top above two cushioned frieze drawers both of which are mahogany lined and above two arched panelled doors set within deep crossbanded edges and with a working lock and key. Internally to one side there are two sliding tray drawers and to the other side is a single shelf. To each side of the CHIFFONIER is a turned column and It is raised on fluted turned feet.

MEASURES: 54” HIGH TO FRIEZE TOP X 36” HIGH TO BASE X 20” DEEP X 55” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
