Walnut Marble Top Chest of Drawers C.1840.

Description

Mid 19th.c. French Louis Philippe marble top chest of drawers c.1840. Original well figured grey marble top with rounded corners and edge over four large drawers plus one extra hidden in the plinth. Superb walnut veneers arranged in a symmetrical pattern across the front. Shallow top drawer fitted with dividers, oak drawer linings to each drawer plus original locks and escutcheons. Solid walnut sides and a moulded plinth raised on slim turned pads. The drawer in the plinth is locked with an extra turn of the key in the drawer above. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
