Japanese Meiji Period Carved IVory Okimono Of An Oarsman

A fine quality Japanese Meiji period carved Ivory one-piece okimono depicting an man with an oar in one hand and a cloth in the other which he is using to wipe his face. This splendid okimono bears a factory mark on the underside and apart from some minor stable shrinkage lines it is in good condition standing 6 inches tall.
