Description

An 18th Century Imari Vase.

The vase with raised collar with decoration of spreading flowers, against a blue ground. The shoulders rounding into a tapered body, the shoulders decorated with reserves of exotic birds perched amongst flowers, and other reserves of Oriental lions. The reserves surrounded by foliage and flowers, the body exotic birds, and carp feeding by a river bank. The scenes within foliage and flower filled borders, as per the shoulders.

Height 12 1/4 inches, 31cm.

Width 10 inches, 26cm.

Depth 10 inches, 26cm.
