Pair of Antique Victorian Satinwood Wellington Bedside Chests

Description

Very rare pair of early Victorian Satinwood bedside chests in the form of small Wellington chests, with the locking bar down the sides. These cabinets that date to around the 1840’s period are in good condition & have a wonderful warm colour, plus loads of character. Please enlarge all the images to see all the original fine details. The drawers are graduated in depth, with fine dovetails & have turned handles with carved rosettes. The side panels have carved corbels & also have the same matching rosettes top & bottom. This pair of bedsides are top quality, free from splits or warps & they have to be the nicest ones I’ve had.
