Antique Silver Toast Rack (6 Slice) 1913

This Elegant ANTIQUE SILVER TOAST RACK has six compartments divided by an arched style frame supporting a central handle. The Silver Toast Rack, made by Joseph Rodgers and assayed in Birmingham in 1913, has a rounded oval shaped body / base that is supported by four ball feet. The toast rack has seven delightfully shaped dividers resulting in six toast sections and the central divider has a shaped handle on the top.

This lovely Silver Toast Rack has not been engraved with any family crests or initials and one end has a full set of clearly defined hallmarks.

This is made from good heavy gauge silver, is of fine quality and is in exceptional condition and could be used as intended as a toast rack or as a superb desk top letter rack or would make a wonderful addition to any collection and would enhance any table setting.
