Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Twin Pedestal Desk C1890

Excellent Quality Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Twin Pedestal Desk and dating from around 1890. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a leather embossed skiver set within a moulded edge and above three single drawers. To one pedestal there are three graduating drawers and to the other pedestal is a single cupboard with working key and internal shelf. All of the drawers are mahogany lined with original brass handles and it is raised on a deep plinth base. The top removes from the Pedastal for ease of transporting. This lovely desk has polished sides and back so can be free standing in any part of your room.

MEASURES: 30.5” HIGH X 30” DEEP X 54” WIDE AND KNEE HEIGHT 24.5”

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
