We take it for granted how items like this were transported from the workshops/showrooms to their new home in our days of the diesel removal vans but horse powered removal wagons would still have been used similar to what we have illustrated on our images. The table would have been lifted onto the wagon by porters before the driver would have taken it through the bustling streets of Liverpool to the train station where a steam train would have taken it to a distant city for it to be moved on from there.
