Puckerings has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The box is lined in Cedar wood which is what was used to keep the cigars fresh. Not officially a Humidor as these are a modern invention but these Cedar lined boxes are often referred to as Humidors.

The interior has a central adjustable cedar division which can also be removed to accommodate very large cigars. The interior compartments measure 5 1/2" x 3 7/8" and when the division is removed the width measures 7 7/8".

The silver is fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1904, Edwardian in era. Excellent condition with minor wear commensurate with age. The exterior measures 8 1/2" x 6 1/8" x 5 5/8" tall.
