Description

A burr walnut, kingwood & amboyna Victorian Period antique writing desk. The rectangular top with a red inset writing surface, banded in burr walnut and with a slightly inverted breakfront. Having an arrangement of nine mahogany lined drawers with burr walnut, amboyna and kingwood veneered fronts and circular brass ring pull handles. Having canted corners with similar inlaid work which is also repeated in the ends. The whole supported on shaped bracket feet veneered in burr walnut. English circa 1880

Condition: This desk is in superb original condition, cleaned and waxed
