The mirror with a gilt eagle cresting. The eagle with wings outsretched, as he stands perched on spreading leaves. the eagle flanked by a scrolled pediment, dcorated with handing leaves. The pediment decorated with carved leaves, above the body. with turret corners, the sides flanked by folding drapery. The lower edges, with scrolled and bowed shaping. The bevelled plate held within gilt slips. The moulding and slips decorated with inward facing leaves.
Height 54 inches, 137cm.

Depth 3 1/2 inches, 9cm.
Date c 1880.
