Description

A Fine quality figured mahogany Victorian Period pedestal desk. Having a rectangular top with an inset green leather writing surface with gilt and blind tooled detail, above an arrangement of nine rectangular drawers each with fine quality mahogany drawer linings and brass drawer pulls and retaining the original locks stamped VR patent. Each of the drawers fronts made in beautifully figured mahogany and stamped by the maker James Winter & Sons, Wardour Street, London. With solid mahogany sides, back and plinth and inset concealed castors. English circa 1880

Dimensions: 54" wide x 23" deep x 30.5" high (knee hole 23" high x 22" wide)

Condition: This desk is in wonderful condition, cleaned and waxed
