A fine 19th century Black Forest smoking aid carved as a hiking bear with backpack & walking stick, standing over a brass lined well, the backpack is carved to accommodate a box of matches and the well is for discarding spent matches. This charming Black Forest carving is in excellent overall condition standing 6 inches tall.
