A charming Japanese Meiji period Satsuma pottery miniature brush pot of cylindrical form standing on three feet, it has a good crackle glaze and is hand painted & gilded with characters in circular cartouches front and back. This beautiful miniature is signed on the underside and is in excellent overall condition with no damage or restoration standing 2 ¼ inches tall.
