Art Nouveau Silver Trinket Box 1902

1900 - 1920
Description

This fabulous ART NOUVEAU SILVER TRINKET BOX was made by the well-known and sought after silversmiths of Deakin & Francis in 1902.

This is a superb example of Art Nouveau decoration with sinuous repousse flowers and stems running around the top and sides of this fabulous Silver Trinket Box.

The box was originally a Cigarette Box and has a cedar wood lining, is free from any added inscriptions, monograms or engravings and is in excellent condition despite its age.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Dimensions:

Length – 6.0” (150mm) / Width – 4.25 (108mm) / Height – 1.5” (38mm)

Weight – 376gm / 12.09ozt (Note: This is total weight including liner)
