Victorian burr walnut and marquetry inlaid davenport. The hinged open down front revealing a fitted interior comprising four shelves, two drawers, pen tray and glass ink well. To the right side there is a side drawer over a panelled door concealing four interior drawers. One of the drawers is stamped J.D. Kennard, Upholsterer, St. Leonards. Raised upon turned feet with hidden casters. This piece is in very good condition, however there is some wear to the leather and there is a little damage to the small knob on one of the interior drawers.
