Mid Century 1.56 Carat Burmese Ruby & 2.90 Carat Diamond Ring, Circa 1965

Description

Blam! This amazing natural, unheated ruby and diamond cluster ring packs a proper wallop. The ruby displays a rich, deep pigeon blood ruby and is rubover set in white gold, and sits in a surround of thirty-two high white and lively round brilliant cut diamonds in a slightly bombé shaped oval coronet cluster, leading to a slim white gold shank. A dazzling and impressive statement piece.

Accompanied by a ruby report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the ruby shows no indication of heating.

Cut – Oval cut ruby and round brilliant cut diamonds.

Colour – The diamonds are G to H.

Clarity – The diamonds are VS2 to SI2; all are clean to the naked eye.

Carat – The ruby is a known 1.56 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.90 carat.

Circa – 1965.

Size – V (UK) or 10 5/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – The ruby is 8.51 x 7.02mm. The head of the ring is 26.1 x 19.2mm. Sits 9mm from the finger.

Metal – 18k white gold. Tested.
