Description

Good looking French marble top and marquetry two drawer commode or chest of drawers c.1930. Well figured grey marble top with a moulded edge. Over a two drawer commode with superb decorative front featuring a Classical marquetry work design inlaid into mahogany parquetry ground with a contrasting border. Matching veneers to the sides and front corners with gilded ormolu mounts to the shoulders. Shaped apron and front legs with additional mounts to the feet. Oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.
