This stunning antique ebony walking stick has a fabulous handle made of 800 German silver which is in the form of a wolf or dog head with glass eyes.

The handle is of wonderful quality and has fantastic detail that includes the wolf's sharp teeth and tongue. There is an inscription on the handle H.Schoensetters. Lierre.

This is a rare novelty walking stick which looks like something out of a horror film that would make a wonderful collector's piece and is in good usable condition.

Materials: Wood. Silver handle.

Hallmarked: Crescent moon and crown. 800. For German silver. (silver fineness .800).

Date: c1900.

Length: 90 cm - 35 1/2" approx.

Total weight: 285 grams.

Condition: Very good used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Some scratches, tarnish, small bruises, general wear and a few small dents to the top. No splits or breaks to handle. The ferrule has wear and splits.
