Description

High quality antique Victorian mahogany pedestal desk in excellent condition & dating to around the 1860’s period. It has a rich mahogany colour & the leather writing surface is hand coloured with a tooled edge. All the drawers are graduated in depth & have original locks, turned mahogany handles & fine dovetails. This desk is finished & polished on the back, so it can free stand. It’s a nice medium size, so there is a very generous kneehole space in the middle. The top section just lifts off the two pedestals, so transportation is easy.
